#MyCoffeeWhiffs – Blue Tokai, Navi Mumbai

In a chance detour, I ended up at Blue Tokai Roasters, Seawood, Navi Mumbai.

Part of the main market complex, it is a cozy cafe serving its signature medium and dark roast coffees with an array of snacks. I was much taken by their delicious croissants! The Berry Mascarpone Croissant and Pista & Rasperry Croissant were total hits! The pastry was flaky and light, and the filling was sumptuous. Pair it with a coffee of your choice – both hot (cappuccino and cortado are my picks) and cold brews (Vietnamese Style Iced Coffee for me!) work here – and I am set. But I must confess; their sourdough toasts with generous toppings – mushroom and scrambled eggs in my case – are things to be shared. Absolutely filling, its freshness and gooey warmth literally hijacks the tummy, slowly and teasingly.

The cafe also has a nice ambience, with comfortable seating and friendly staff. The décor is quietly colorful, the hues mingling with the soothing vibe of the place. They also serve pancakes, sandwiches, salads and the likes. The prices are a tad bit steep but the portions are good.

I would recommend this place for a short stop for work or leisure laughs with friends or family. And if you are on a run, you can place the order on their app and schedule a pick-up at the store. All works well.
